Birmingham SEND Co-production Training Sessions 2025

Purpose of this session:

• Hear perspectives on co-production – from young people and parent carers
• Share experiences – identify opportunities and celebrate co-production successes
• Understand the benefits– how co-production can make a difference in your work and networks
• Define co-production and the 4Cs– explore the SEND Co-production Framework & Charter
• Learn about the SEND Co-production Award Scheme – a tool to show co-productions impact in your setting

Who Should Attend?

This training is open to all staff and volunteers working in SEND education, health, social care, and the voluntary sector services in Birmingham. Young people and parents and carers are also welcome to attend this training.

Additional Information

• Arrivals and signing in/out procedures: Participants will need to sign in and out at the end of the meeting. You will be escorted to the training room from reception by one of the facilitators or school staff.
• Refreshments:Teas and coffees will be available throughout the session.
• Childcare:Unfortunately, we don’t have childcare arrangements in place for these training sessions.
• Training times:Please arrive by 9.30am as we plan to make a prompt start at 10.00am. The session will end at 13.00pm
• Directions and transport: If you’re travelling by car or using public transport, you can plan your journey via google maps.
