The Future of Short Breaks

Birmingham City Council and Birmingham Children’s Trust have been reviewing the local short breaks service offer. This is because the current contractual arrangements will expire soon, so now is a good time to think about opportunities to spend the money that is available for short breaks differently to support better outcomes for children with disabilities and their families. In April and May of 2024, there was a survey for local families to share their views on the short breaks service offer.
